I was born and raised in Baguio City, Benguet, Philippines, where the cool mountain air and scenic beauty have been a constant source of inspiration. Growing up in this vibrant city, I’ve been immersed in its rich cultural heritage, with its blend of indigenous Igorot traditions and colonial influences. Baguio is often referred to as the "Summer Capital of the Philippines," renowned for its cool climate, pine forests, and stunning parks such as Burnham Park, Wright Park, and Camp John Hay.
Life here is marked by the colorful Panagbenga Festival, which celebrates the city’s culture and creativity through flower-filled parades. Its vibrant arts and crafts community, along with the peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding highlands, has fostered a strong connection between nature and the artistic spirit in me.
